Dr. Nanavati earned his medical degree at the Howard University College of Medicine and his residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He has a Pain Medicine fellowship from the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He joined Liberty Anesthesia as a staff anesthesiologist at CentraState Medical Center.
Dr. Nanavati is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, North American Neuromodulation Society, American Society of Pain and Neuroscience, NJ/NY Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and Spine Intervention Society.
He is affiliated at the CentraState Medical Center.
Dr. Nanavati is a practicing anesthesiologist and pain management physician specializing in advanced techniques and procedures to treat chronic, acute and cancer pain. He has expertise in all pain management interventions including but not limited to:
- nerve blocks for radicular pain
- epidural nerve blocks
- nerve blocks for both cervical and lumbar facet syndrome
- stellate and lumbar sympathetic nerve blocks
- occipital nerve blocks
- trigger point injections
- insertion of spinal cord stimulators
