Do I Really Have to Live with Sciatic Pain?

CW: Please describe the frequent causes of sciatica pain.
Dr. Ghobriel: Heavy lifting, pregnancy, sports injuries, physically demanding jobs, generic predisposition.
CW: What are the primary symptoms? How would a patient know they are suffering from sciatica?
Dr. Ghobriel: Pain shooting down the buttock, thigh front or back, leg, and possibly foot with or without numbness and tingling. Pain can be stabbing, burning, electric, achy, constant or comes and goes.
